What this means is if we take you on as a client, Baselayer will not represent your competitors in your targeted niche and your geographic territory.

Exclusivity matters.  Many things in your law business are “growth framework.” Getting higher average settlements in your niche, for example, has no upward limit. Thus, “growth framework.”  But not your marketing.  Your marketing is “status framework.” You can only move up by moving someone else down. There will only be 1 law firm in the top position of a search. There will only be 3 in the top 3 positions. If we were looking for a marketing firm we would demand that they didn’t represent our competitors. So we demand that of ourselves as a marketing firm. Does it mean we turn down paying business?  Yep. And honestly we like it that way.
